What happens next
Within one working day a named specialist replies with a route, a real cost and the two or three questions they still need answered. If your plan does not fit the time you have, they say so in that first reply rather than after a deposit.
Then you push back, we re-cost, and usually two or three rounds later you have something you want to book. No deposit is needed to reach that point.
Do I need to know where I want to go?
No. Half our enquiries start with a date and a rough idea. Tell us who is travelling and what you would rather avoid, and we build from there.
Is there a minimum spend?
No, but below about five days a custom build does not make sense — we will suggest a day tour and a transfer instead.
How quickly can you arrange a trip?
Two weeks is comfortable for most routes; 48 hours is possible if you are flexible on hotels. Peak season needs longer.
What happens after you send this
A specialist reads it — not a queue, not a chatbot. Within one working day you get a first reply, which is either a proposal or two or three questions if something does not add up (usually dates that put you in the north during the burning season, or a route with too many moves for the time available).
The proposal is a day-by-day route with real driving times, named hotels or hotel categories, what is included, and a fixed price per person. It is a document you can read on a phone, not a PDF brochure.
What we need from you
Dates, number of travellers and ages, where you would like to go or an admission that you have no idea, and a rough budget. The budget matters: a $150-a-day trip and a $500-a-day trip are different countries in the same place, and knowing which one you want saves two rounds of emails.
Anything that constrains the plan — a fear of boats, a vegetarian in the family, a flight already booked, a wedding you cannot miss — should go in the last box. It is usually where the good itineraries come from.
What it costs to ask
Nothing. There is no deposit until you approve an itinerary, no card details required to get a proposal, and no fee for changes before booking. If we cannot do what you want, we will say so in the first reply rather than waste your time.
